Message from Rick

This is a channeled book but now it is my turn to speak. 2020 and 2021 were both heavy years of channeling writings for spirit. By the end of 2021, I had received 24 books, on top of working full time and just dealing with daily life. 2022 saw five more books, but they were primarily received on Sundays, so Monday to Saturday had been channeling-free for a good six months, before I got this funny feeling that things were about to change. I knew that a new book was going to be written in mid-June. I was surprised because at this point, I just wasn't sure if there was anything left for anyone to say or anyone to hear for that matter. I don't question though, so I followed my routine, went and bought a new notebook and I was given a start date of Saturday June 18th. It was during the first moments of the first session that I found out what the title would be. I was apprehensive and surprised. I remembered the brick-sized original book and I knew it took several years to write. I wasn't sure about this.

I only told one other human being about this and no one else. I didn't say anything to this confidant until there had been 24 sessions and I had a good sense of how easy the flow was and how fun it was. Not all of the pandemic-era writings have been fun or easy to receive, but this 30th one was. It was received from Saturday June 18th, 2022 to Saturday September 10th, 2022. It was the first of the 30 books to include a table of contents within each section, which was really nice. None of the other ones did. I was always going in blind and didn't know the direction we were going in.

How this works is that I get my walking papers every morning as soon as I wake up. I find out how many sessions there will be that day. If I can't make one for whatever reason, like I can't find my glasses, I'm too tired, I don't feel like it, it gets made-up the following day.

I've learned that in order for all of this to not consume my every working hour, I have to compartmentalize. I go into the zone, write, leave the zone and watch 'The Real Housewives' and 'The Bold and the Beautiful'! This works for me, and it's taken a long time to figure it out.

When Volume One of 'Soul in the Driver's Seat: A Course in Miracles for the New Age' was finished, I had no idea that there were going to be two more volumes. When I found out, I was pretty mad! I didn't understand why we couldn't have kept going with the channeling without a break and why I wasn't informed that Volume One wasn't the entirety of the book. Also, I was hoping to hang up my channeling shoes for good at that point and be finished with it all, once some other projects wound down.

Once I came to my senses, I realized that quitting channeling wasn't going to be an option, so, I calmed down and started to receive Volumes Two and Three. All three volumes took approximately five and a half months, from mid-June to late November of 2022.

This very powerful book is a great gift to everyone. I like this book. It's everything it wanted to be and needed to be. I hope it will be received with open hearts and minds so that it can work its magic. I don't know if it will ever be read by anyone other than my confidant, but that's OK. It's not my job. My job is now officially finished. 'Soul in the Driver's Seat: A Course in Miracles for the New Age' is complete.
